Pranav Pradeep
A little more about me

I'm from Kerala, and I've always been a beach boy. After a recent trip to Manali, I'm less sure.

I rented a bike in Manali, rode to Jispa, and came back. It gave the mountains a pretty strong case.

Out of office

Usually up for a ride somewhere.

I enjoy planning a trip, getting on a bike, and seeing somewhere new — from Karnataka and Kerala to the mountains.

The everyday things

Often with music on.

Something playing

Hip-hop, EDM, Hindi, Afrobeats. It depends on the day.

A café to try

Mostly around Gurugram, sometimes Delhi.

Animals, always

Especially dogs, cats and parrots.

How I got here

Industrial design
↓
Digital product design

Different materials.
The same love of problem-solving.

Before digital products, I was an industrial designer working with startups at an incubator in Bengaluru. The materials and constraints were different, but the part I enjoyed most was the same: understanding a problem and finding a useful way through it.

I like variety and a new challenge. In product design, that means getting curious about what people need, deciding what belongs in a first version, and learning from how they respond.

I joined SuperProfile in October 2024. I want to keep getting better at connecting user response and data with product direction, ongoing improvements and business outcomes.

From a design to a frontend change.

I also use Claude Code and Codex in the terminal to implement frontend changes locally and submit pull requests. Making things is helping me develop my technical understanding.

Personal tinkering

Quick Expense

In progress

I like building things that would be useful in my own day-to-day life. Quick Expense started because the expense apps I tried weren't giving me an experience I liked.

It's an Android app for manually tracking expenses, with no bank connection. The challenge is making each entry quick and convenient.

It's still in progress, and my brother and I are testing it as I build.

November 2026

These days

I've started learning guitar, I'm trying to get back into reading, and I'm planning a three-day trek in Uttarakhand for December.
